Position Summary

Are you an enthusiastic individual with a passion for maintaining cleanliness in sacred spaces? We are seeking a dedicated part-time housekeeper to ensure our parish rectory remains immaculate. Enjoy flexible working hours from Tuesday to Friday, along with the opportunity to contribute to a welcoming environment.

Work Schedule and Compensation:

Part-time position, Hourly, Non-Exempt
Tuesday - Friday (between 9 AM and 4 PM)

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform weekly cleaning of rectory rooms, including laundry, ironing, mopping, and vacuuming.
  2. Maintain cleanliness of common areas on a weekly basis or as required.
  3. Sanitize guest and suite bathrooms regularly.
  4. Manage waste disposal by emptying trash cans and ensuring weekly pick-up.
  5. Launder parish tablecloths, including washing, ironing, and folding.
  6. Receive and organize food orders on a weekly basis.
  7. Occasionally disinfect the refrigerator and clean pantry shelves.
  8. Prepare and tidy guest rooms in the rectory as necessary.
  9. Undertake additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

Demonstrate a positive and supportive attitude towards the Catholic Church and its teachings.

Maintain discretion regarding personal conduct and lifestyle choices that align with the values of the parish.

Physical Demands:
Ability to see clearly at various distances, good manual dexterity, effective communication skills, and the capacity to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, kneeling, bending, lifting, and moving items weighing up to 25 pounds.
