Neurology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Mercy Medical Group, a leading multi-specialty group with over 500 healthcare providers in the Sacramento region, is seeking a skilled Neurology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to our established headache, sleep, and general neurology patients. This includes conducting comprehensive health assessments, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing and implementing patient care plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop and implement patient care plans.
- Prescribe medications and therapies, and provide health promotion and disease prevention education.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and consult with physicians and specialists as needed.
- A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California.
- Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare).
- Completion of state-mandated educational courses.
