Job Overview

This role involves assisting with the setup, operation, and maintenance of the Ink Jet Stitcher to meet quality and production goals. You will work collaboratively with the Lead Ink Jet Stitcher Operator to ensure seamless daily schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting up the pockets of the Ink Jet Stitcher according to job specifications.
  • Maintaining the Ink Jet Stitcher equipment in optimal condition.
  • Inspecting books for quality during the stitching process.
  • Assisting with paperwork and forms related to the stitching process.
  • Fedding the pocket as required.
  • Performing make-readies on all auxiliary equipment.
  • FOLLOWING ALL SAFETY PROCEDURES AND PROTOCOLS.
  • Reading and understanding job tickets, worker orders, and other relevant documentation.
  • Interacting with the Lead Ink Jet Stitcher Operator to facilitate daily schedules.
  • Meeting customer quality requirements.
  • Able to meet or exceed expected goals on make-readies, speeds, waste, efficiencies, etc.
  • The ability to operate various tools related to equipment.
  • Assisting with routine equipment maintenance and determining when maintenance is needed.

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete projects independently.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • 12-hour shift capability.
  • Pass a drug screen and background check.
