Position Overview:
Soliant is looking for a committed and proficient Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services in a school environment. This position focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of students facing challenges with speech and language, ensuring their success both academically and socially.
Key Duties:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Create and execute tailored therapy plans to tackle communication difficulties.
- Deliver direct therapy sessions aimed at improving students' speech, language, and communication capabilities.
- Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy strategies as needed.
- Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other specialists to achieve students' educational objectives.
- Engage in IEP meetings and assist in formulating students' educational strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
- Experience working with children, ideally in an educational context.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
