**Job Title:** Caregiver Professional
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Caregiver Professional to join our team at Continuum of Care, Inc. in Connecticut.
Salary: $18.83 - $19.55 per hour, depending on experience and certification level.
Location: Beaumont and Norwich, CT
Job Description:
In this crucial role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, enabling them to live independently and achieve their goals.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living tasks, promoting independence, and providing emotional support. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring that each individual receives the highest quality care and support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred, with a minimum of one year's experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Connecticut Driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Certification as a Direct Support Professional is preferred.
- Completion of certifications in CPR, First Aid, PMT, and other required training through DDS and COC.
- Computer skills to navigate electronic records, access email, and complete documentation.
