  • Sunday - Thursday: 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM
  • Tuesday - Saturday: 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute daily cross-dock and regional multi-stop truckload operations within a designated regional area.
  • Develop and manage a daily dispatch/load-out plan for the Wayfair Operations team to ensure timely merchandise movement.
  • Facilitate daily communications through emails, messaging platforms, and phone calls with carriers, suppliers, and corporate team members.
  • Identify and communicate any exceptions or at-risk shipments, providing solutions to ensure timely goods flow by auditing trailers on the dock.
  • Work on the fulfillment center floor in a fast-paced environment, making informed and spontaneous decisions to optimize our logistics network.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide a comprehensive view of merchandise flow.
  • Manage carrier partnerships to ensure daily execution of all movements, reviewing performance and implementing improvements based on business priorities.
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for warehousing sites and carrier partners.
  • Uphold Wayfair's Standard Operating Procedures and Key Performance Indicators across the transportation network.
  • Collaborate with Wayfair site leaders to identify opportunities for improving volume metrics and reducing damages.
  • Interact with fulfillment center associates, managers, and leaders to oversee all truckload shipments, enhancing load quality, cube metrics, and speed to customer.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of logistics experience, with a focus on transportation and operations.
  • Experience in carrier planning for both large and small parcel deliveries.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and manage operational exceptions with effective communication.
  • Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems such as JDA, Oracle, or Manhattan.
  • Demonstrated experience in KPI measurement and reporting.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets and/or Excel.
  • Experience with SQL/BigQuery is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple cross-functional teams.
