Position Summary:

Embrace the chance to lead and motivate as a Housekeeping Supervisor, where your keen attention to detail will create a sanctuary of cleanliness and comfort for our guests. As the pivotal leader of the housekeeping department, you will cultivate a culture of excellence, ensuring that every room embodies the highest standards of hospitality and meticulous care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and guide the housekeeping team, offering training and support to guarantee efficient and high-quality cleaning services.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms and communal areas, adhering to the standards set by White Barn Inn and Forbes, while promptly addressing any concerns.
  • Manage housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate inventory levels and coordinating orders as needed.
  • Assist in creating the daily cleaning schedule for rooms and public areas, distributing tasks among staff to ensure timely and thorough completion of responsibilities.
  • Participate in turndown service and the cleaning of guest accommodations.
  • Maintain open communication with maintenance and front office teams to ensure seamless service for guests.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns related to housekeeping, providing effective solutions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Fulfill all housekeeping duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or front office roles is essential.
  • Proficient communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on departmental needs.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication abilities.
