Job Title: Asphalt Project Manager

GPAC, a leading asphalt and concrete paving company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asphalt Project Manager to oversee all aspects of paving, site development, and pavement maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all phases of pavement projects, including asphalt and concrete paving, site development, and pavement maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules, coordinating with team members, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely project completion.
  • Create and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  • Monitor project quality and ensure adherence to specifications, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Supervise and support project teams, including field staff and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflow.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle, implementing effective solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and compliance records.
  • Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in project management within the paving, construction, or site development industry.
  • Familiarity with asphalt and concrete paving techniques, site development processes, and pavement maintenance practices.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities with a track record of managing projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively liaising with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze project data, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management within the relevant industry.
