About the Role

MHC Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Integrated Care Team at the Dove Mountain Health Center in Tucson, AZ.

The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a primary care setting, promoting health and wellness through evidence-based practices and collaborative care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive patient care, including diagnosing, treating, and monitoring acute and chronic conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, collaborating with other providers as needed.
  • Provide health maintenance care, including physical examinations, well-baby checks, and gynecological care.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and follow up with patients through various channels.
  • Promote wellness and self-care through health education and counseling on exercise, nutrition, and disease management.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner or related field.
  • Active license to practice in Arizona.
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
  • At least 1 year of recent Primary Care or Family Practice experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or Primary Health Care environment.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
