Position Overview
We are in search of a highly motivated and passionate individual to become a vital part of our expanding Product Development Team. As Antora transitions from prototype to production of its unique thermal energy storage systems, this role is essential in ensuring the reliability and availability of our thermal batteries and plants at renewable energy projects nationwide. You will work closely with engineering teams to define, design, and implement reliability tools that are crucial for our operations. Your contributions will play a key role in demonstrating a pioneering long-duration energy storage technology, ensuring that reliability is an integral aspect of our designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to deliver critical outputs such as Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and Hazard and Operability Analysis (HAZOP).
  • Work alongside hardware, software, and test engineers to establish success criteria for vital reliability decisions and evaluations.
  • Partner with peer teams to develop tools that facilitate data-driven reliability enhancements, including the Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS).
  • Provide updates during program reviews and top-level reliability performance assessments.
  • Engage in design phase gate reviews to confirm that reliability requirements are satisfied.
  • Contribute to the documentation of lessons learned and reliability improvements.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or science discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a reliability engineering role focused on hardware.
  • A strong mindset for process improvement, tools, and continuous enhancement.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degrees in Engineering.
  • Technical expertise in Testing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in Technical or Engineering Program Management.
  • Background in scaling production within a startup environment.
  • Knowledge in design for reliability, physics of failure, and life data analysis.

Salary Range: $163,000 USD - $195,000 USD
Salary Basis: Annual
