We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Scientist for Neuropathology and Neuroanatomy to join our team at the Department of Anatomy, Physiology and Genetics in Uniformed Services University. The successful candidate will work in the laboratory of Dr. Sharon L Juliano, conducting research on neuropathology/histology, multiple types of imaging, biochemical, and behavioral analysis.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our understanding of inflammation and mechanisms of treating TBI. As a Senior Research Scientist, you will be involved in work that includes neuropathology, imaging, biochemical, and behavioral analysis, with pursuits along focused lines of inquiry and manuscript development.

In this role, you will perform complex laboratory tests, determinations, and analyses involving multiple procedures and technical approaches. You will also train junior laboratory staff in laboratory techniques and processes, conduct research in collaboration with other scientific and technical staff, analyze and prepare reagent and/or assay product documentation, organize and procure needed reagents, perform experiments, analyze data, and document results.

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $105,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. If you are a motivated and experienced professional with a Master's degree and a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in research and development, we encourage you to apply.
