Position OverviewGeneral Summary
As a Sonographer at All-Stat Portable, your primary responsibility is to obtain high-quality imaging results. This role necessitates the proficient operation of ultrasound equipment while ensuring that patients feel at ease and are well-informed throughout the imaging process. You will be the point of contact for any inquiries or concerns patients may have regarding their ultrasound examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to various healthcare facilities as required
- Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations utilizing portable equipment
- Process and upload imaging results to a PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
- Complete and manage necessary documentation
Qualifications
- ARDMS certification (AB + Vascular), RVT preferred
- Maintain continuing medical education (CME) for licensure and certification
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving history
- Have reliable transportation for work-related travel
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication abilities
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare setting
- Strong computer literacy and software proficiency
- Availability for night and weekend shifts
- Previous experience in mobile imaging is advantageous
Educational Background
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in ultrasound technology
