Surgical Care Professional: Delivering Excellence in Operating Room Settings

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Care Professional to join our team at HCA Florida Northside Hospital. As an Operating Room First Assistant Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality care and efficient service in our surgical environment.
About the Role
This is a dynamic opportunity for a registered nurse with expertise in providing clinical support and facilitating smooth surgical procedures. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, planning and implementing effective care plans, and collaborating with surgeons to ensure seamless execution of operative procedures. Additionally, you will maintain accurate patient records, administer medications as per physician orders, and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized operating room environment.
Compensation Package
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $110,000 annually, reflecting the skills and experience required for this critical role. This compensation package reflects our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent while promoting growth and development opportunities within the organization.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse or ARNP in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure;
- Graduate of an accredited by CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) and the State of Florida Surgical Assistant Program, or Medical School Graduate, or Allied Health professional having completed 2250 hours surgical rotation;
- Current Certified First Assistant (CFA) having completed 350 cases;
- Two years of experience within the last four years;
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required;
