Job Summary

Carroll Electric Cooperative Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our engineering functions and support the reliable and efficient distribution of electric energy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electric power systems, including transmission, substations, and distribution, and will be able to communicate effectively with other personnel, groups/departments, consultants, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and assign work to best utilize resources
  • Ensure compliance with all Cooperative rules, regulations, and safe practices
  • Assess and address employee performance, assist in hiring, and recommend promotions or terminations
  • Provide technical and engineering support for operations, maintenance, and construction functions
  • Direct the planning and design of electric plant projects, including cost estimates, permits, easements, project administration, and contracts

Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree and electrical engineering license
  • Minimum of ten years of relevant industry experience and three years of leadership experience
  • Strong project management, budgeting, and resource allocation skills
  • Ability to interpret and utilize various information and models
