CSE Chairperson

This position reports to the Pupil Services Division and school principal in a midsize urban school district located in the Capital region of Upstate New York.

• Administer psychological and educational assessments to support student learning and development.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and students to develop behavior plans and interventions.
• Design and evaluate programs to address academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
• Provide assessment and intervention solutions as part of the school-based support team.
• Demonstrate knowledge of special education regulations, processes, and procedures.

• Doctorate in School Psychology preferred.
• NYS certification as a School Psychologist is required.
• Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university.
• CSE experience preferred.
• Experience working in schools and with children preferred.
