Job Overview

Sought after is an experienced Mechanical Engineer with expertise in developing, designing, and simulating mechanical and electro-mechanical systems for Electro-Optical subsystems and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and analyze component designs and mounting provisions for various devices
  • Focus on precise optical elements and subassemblies mounting
  • Develop electro-mechanical mechanisms used in sighting systems
  • Work on Fire Control sensors including Hand Controllers, Gyros, Accelerometers, Periscopes, Auxiliary sights, Muzzle reference sensors
  • Ensure designs meet vehicle performance requirements including human factors, safety, environmental and mine blast requirements
  • Conduct material selection/analysis for commercial and military Electro-Optical system components
  • Perform detailed design of Electro-Optical custom components
  • Engage in analysis & design tasks, drawing mark-ups, tolerance stacks, and generating source data for engineering changes
Requirements and Preferences
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have a BS degree
  • Solid modeling experience using NX and Creo
  • Experience with Teamcenter and Vis Mockup
