Job Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies in the Naval Sea Systems Command. Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the review, approval, distribution, and disposition of logistics/engineering data deliverables.
  • Analyze the Contract Data Requirement List to determine the effectiveness of the above-mentioned data deliverables from the contractor.
  • Determine the quality and timeliness of contract deliverables and provide guidance on the contract when differences arise involving these data deliverables.
  • Make recommendations to modify or change the selections and quantity for performance from the contract award to a delivery date to prevent schedule slippage.
  • Provide biweekly status reports to SUPSHIP Department, Project Offices, and the Contractor of data receipt, distribution, and review of contract deliverables.
  • Prepare written correspondence to NAVSEA and the Contractor of slippage of schedule contract deliverables and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Define and coordinate data management requirements concerning computer facilities and Automatic Data Processing (ADP) methods for status determination and tracking of required contract data.
  • Communicate daily with project office personnel and Shipbuilder support for reporting, tracking, or required data.
  • Identify, receive, assemble, and deliver contract manuals and drawings required for each ship from the Shipbuilder.
Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting with analyzing technical contract data deliverables to ensure construction of Navy ships and crafts are within established contract schedule and milestones.
