About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our team at Children's Mercy KC. As an Environmental Services Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and functional environment for our patients, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all Environmental Services storage facilities on the Main Campus, excluding janitor's closets.
  • Oversee reusable drape management and prepare outside facility supply requests for delivery.
  • Repair and maintain all chemical dilution systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Monitor equipment and supply utilization, providing regular inventory reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in training personnel on the use of equipment and provide guidance on best practices.
Requirements
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and product labels.
  • No prior experience necessary, as on-the-job training will be provided.
