Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

This role plays a vital part in the success of Sanctuary Camelback Mountain by aiding in the reception of merchandise and food supplies from various sources. It is essential to uphold the requisition system's functionality while ensuring that quality benchmarks are consistently met within the service center, reflecting our commitment to excellence and pride in our standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Note: The following tasks are not exhaustive.

  • Facilitate the receipt of all food and beverage products, ensuring they are delivered to the correct storage areas.
  • Assist with incoming shipments from carriers and guarantee prompt delivery of all packages to the intended recipients.
  • Maintain daily and monthly logs for receiving and outbound shipments.
  • Process daily requisitions and distribute them to various resort outlets.
  • Support the upkeep and cleanliness of the loading dock and receiving zones.
  • Ensure proper rotation of beverages, including soda, water, and beer.
  • Foster a positive work environment by communicating effectively and collaborating with guests, vendors, colleagues, and management.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by Purchasing Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate must demonstrate the following skills and abilities and be capable of performing the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Ability to maintain a friendly demeanor and operate efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive outlook are essential.
  • Capability to read, interpret, and comprehend product invoices and receiving documents.
  • Effective communication skills with delivery personnel and team members.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Proficient in listening, speaking, and writing in English.
  • Ability to address guest and employee concerns in a friendly and constructive manner, demonstrating empathy and providing effective solutions.
  • Capability to safely operate and manage golf carts, hand trucks, and flatbed dollies.
  • Must be at least 19 years old due to the handling of alcoholic beverages.
  • Ability to navigate stairs and ladders.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. overhead.
  • Ability to walk on both flat and uneven surfaces.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

High School Diploma or G.E.D. Equivalent.

Related Work Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not mandatory.
