Job Title: Ultrasound Tech III

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Tech III to join our team at Covenant Health (Tennessee). As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and specialized ultrasound procedures under the order of licensed medical practitioners.
  • Conduct patient clinical assessments, obtain and document pertinent clinical information, and review examination images to prepare preliminary findings for physician interpretation.
  • Identify and document any limitations to the sonography examination and ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and high-quality imaging results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical ultrasound experience and ARDMS, ARRT (S), ARRT (VS), or CCI licensure.
  • State licensure in accordance with Tennessee guidelines and RDMS registration or eligibility.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
