Job Title: Main Banker

At Colonial Downs Group LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Main Banker to join our team. As a Main Banker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, fostering a supportive environment for team members, and maintaining the confidentiality of privileged information.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide next-level guest service to internal and external guests, demonstrating our company culture in all interactions.
  2. Foster an environment of support and motivation for team members.
  3. Maintain confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established procedures and company policy.
  4. Comply with and follow internal control policies and procedures, state regulations, and company policies.
  5. Monitor reconciliation of funds exchange for cashiers and issue, control, and reconcile all credit instruments.
  6. Maintain accurate accountability of all funds assigned and prepare daily casino bank deposits in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  7. Reconcile reports from the Drop Count department and all credit and jackpot slips, checks, credit card advances, markers, and other related fund exchanges associated with the main bank.
  8. Maintain and control all window bank and retail bank keys and perform duties of Cage Cashier as needed.
  9. Safeguard company assets and adhere to all cage policies and procedures.
  10. Maintain and be held accountable for all funds entrusted on an assigned shift and handle team member and guest financial transactions.
  11. Monitor for fraud, forged/counterfeit currency, and/or vouchers and balance all funds, preparing reconciliation reports accordingly.
  12. Resolve problems within the scope of authority and recommend courses of action to resolve problems beyond the scope of authority to the position's supervisor.
  13. Keep the position supervisor informed of relevant activities and perform other duties as assigned.
Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities:
  • Attend required training sessions offered by the company.
  • Obtain and retain required licenses.
  • Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Take necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Have knowledge of ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team member's department.
  • Have knowledge of the property's programs to address problem gaming.
  • Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the team member may have knowledge.
Position Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. Banking and guest service experience preferred. Must be able to formulate and communicate ideas.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Virginia Racing Commission License
