Job Summary:

The Defense Health Agency Civilian Corps is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Womack Army Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. As a Physician Assistant - Neurology Specialist, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Neurology services to inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Physician.
  • Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with Neurological disorders.
  • Prescribe medication for common neurological diseases and disorders.
  • Order and perform laboratory or diagnostic procedures and studies.
  • Order and perform diagnostic studies such as electromyography (EMG), electrocardiograms, and special x-ray examinations.

Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship required.
  • At least one year of experience as a certified physician assistant providing Neurology services.
  • Successful completion of the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) examination.
  • Graduation from a physician assistant educational program accredited by the Accreditation Review Committee on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARCPA).
  • Must have a permanent, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a territory of the U.S.
