As a Float Pool Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Avamere Skilled Advisors dba AvaStaff, you will be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes the well-being of our residents and patients.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work in a float pool setting, supporting Avamere at our skilled nursing facility in the Sequim, WA community. You will have the flexibility to set your own schedule and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with nursing staff, residents, and their families.
- Prepare and administer medications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Provide direct and indirect patient care, including planning and delivery of care.
- Supervise the execution of resident plans of care and participate in their development.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing supervisors, and colleagues regarding patient clinical conditions.
- A current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in this state.
- A nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- A competitive hourly rate of $40-$45 (DOE).
