Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CDL B Driver to join our team at Richards Building Supply Co. in Michigan City, IN.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely deliver products to job sites and physically unload material per customer request.
  • Receive materials in the warehouse, load trucks, and process inventory.
  • Load trucks with material scheduled for the day's deliveries, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Unload trucks and receive merchandise at the warehouse.
  • Move materials and items from receiving to their designated area.
Requirements:
  • 1 year CDL Class B delivery driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience.
  • Flatbed with Moffett and/or boom truck experience desired, but will train.
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission.
  • Current DOT medical card.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Must be at least 23 years of age.
  • Heavy lifting experience.
  • Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen.
