Compensation

Salary:
$55,000 + Commission & Incentives

Key Responsibilities:
Engage with accounts and manage daily routes by establishing an efficient routing strategy.

Evaluate the entire account portfolio by visiting each account to identify opportunities; complete necessary surveys and ensure compliance with national account standards where applicable.

Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to clients by balancing company priorities with customer needs, including new product introductions, bar placements, and promotional activities.

Maintain product availability in accounts by conducting inventory checks and restocking shelves (where legally permissible).
Educate account personnel on priority brands through training seminars.
Manage customer account receivables by processing credits and returns promptly and communicating with accounts regarding aged receivables.

Support accounts by delivering products in exceptional circumstances, addressing customer issues and complaints, and referring these matters to management as needed.

Achieve sales and merchandising targets.

Strategize and plan effectively to meet objectives by understanding company pricing and product programming on a monthly basis and maintaining accurate historical purchase data.

Collaborate with management on inventory levels by monitoring current stock and alerting management to potential demand fluctuations.

Meet performance standards by achieving distribution, volume, and activity goals set by management for supplier brands.

Ensure maximum brand visibility within accounts by adhering to account standards established by management and utilizing effective point of sale materials when appropriate.

Collect payments for the company by managing the collection and delivery of checks or other remittances from accounts where legally permissible.
Assist in the opening of new accounts by developing initial orders in collaboration with the Field Sales Manager.
Participate in effective supplier initiatives through sales calls and promotional events.
Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor as required.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent training and experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Sales
Basic proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software, including presentation tools
Must be a results-driven professional with strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating diplomacy and discretion along with customer service expertise
Ability to multitask, work independently or collaboratively, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines
Analytical and reporting skills
Utilize sound judgment and problem-solving abilities
Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume team environment
Must be at least 21 years of age
Possess a valid Driver's License
Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance required

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to remain stationary at times; communicate effectively, and operate a computer and telephone.
Regularly required to reach overhead, squat, and bend.
Must be able to carry and lift 45-65 pounds.
