Epic Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Epic Analyst to join our Behavioral Health team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Epic systems, with a focus on Ambulatory and ASAP certification. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing training and support to customers, developing and maintaining training environments and materials, and participating in testing and workflow validation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate and provide initial and follow-up training to customers, working with the analyst team to clarify workflow and create training curriculum.
* Develop and maintain training environments and materials, and provide role-based education (classroom setting, handouts, e-learning, etc.).
* Respond to training requests, documentation requests, and Service Desk tickets assigned to Training, scheduling training and providing training resources in a timely manner.
* Participate in testing and workflow validation efforts.
* Collaborate with clinical stakeholders in work groups to discuss opportunities for greater system utilization and enhancements.

Requirements:

* Ambulatory or ASAP certified
* Epic build experience required
* Experience triaging and supporting Epic Ambulatory or ASAP; preferably both
* Excellent documentation, communication, interpersonal, and strong organizational skills
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks

Preferred Qualifications:
The following skills and experience are not necessary, but would be preferred.

* Prior Epic employee desired
* Clinical experience (i.e., RN, etc.) desirable, but not required
* Certifications or credentials for other Epic applications a plus
* Solid understanding of processes/procedures and workflow within a hospital/clinical/health plan setting
* Military experience a plus. County awards preference for military veterans
