Job Title: Teller

At Community Bank, we are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Teller to join our team. As a Teller, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service by handling financial transactions accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide personalized service to customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Count and reconcile cash, as well as maintain a secure and organized cash handling environment.
  • Process loan payments, verify customer information, and update records as necessary.
  • Assist customers with opening and closing accounts, as well as answering questions about bank products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date on banking rules, regulations, and policies, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales and customer service goals.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous banking experience or customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customer groups.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of banking software and systems.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
