About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Provide health promotion, teaching, and training to family members
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
  • Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, and staff on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
