About the Role

HCLTech is a global technology company seeking a skilled Metrology Specialist to join our team. As a Metrology Specialist, you will play a critical role in the characterization of wafers and the development of new processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use Focused Ion Beam (FIB) to prepare samples for Transmission and Scanning Electron Microscopy (TEM and SEM) and analysis.
  • Perform SEM including chemical analysis (EDS). Experience with preparation and imaging of metallization is highly valued.
  • Utilize other available characterization techniques as needed, including AFM, TXRF, XPS, XRD, and TEM.
  • Work in a team environment to perform characterization of wafers and execute processes on wafers for research and development and for characterization prep.
  • Perform tool qualifications and maintain tool and process qualification records.
  • May be required to work either of two shifts, 6AM to 3PM or 3PM to 12AM.
Requirements
  • PhD in engineering or a related field is preferred, but a Master's degree is also considered.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of materials characterization techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
