Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Revlon Consumer Products LLC. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the NA Professional Business Finance business partner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support monthly P&L review with cross-functional teams, providing profitability insights and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze results and provide analysis on key P&L drivers for the period vs. forecast, budget, and prior year, including customer and product volume/mix, trade spend, and advertising and promotions.
  • Partner with the Finance team and cross-functional partners to prepare the monthly forecast, annual budget, and strategic plans, working closely with Brand Management, Customer Planning & Strategy, and Sales.
  • Analyze proposed advertising, promotional spend, and other activation investments with pre- and post-activity ROI analytics to inform current and future decisions.
  • Support commercialization and go-to-market analysis and controls trade rate investment.
  • Provide analysis to support Brand Management and Customer Planning & Strategy teams in establishing MSRP and category pricing based on market conditions, brand strength, product benefits, cost inputs, and the competitive landscape.
  • Support the New Product Development process (Innovation and Renovation) working with cross-functional stakeholders, including Brand Management, Consumer Insights, Customer Strategy & Planning, Sales, and Operations Finance.
  • Support the preparations of forecasts, financials, project return metrics, and changes vs. previous updates analysis.
  • Analyze SKU level performance, innovation plans, and market trends using analytics to recommend enhancements and portfolio optimization opportunities.
  • Prepare analysis and partner with Finance team to optimize gross margin based on pricing, mix management, cost improvement, and innovation.
  • Liaise with Operations Finance to summarize impacts of standard costs and manufacturing variances for historical, current, and future key material costs.
  • Support managing and optimizing working capital, including inventory, portfolio optimization, establishing product life-cycle expectations, and monitoring excess & obsolete inventory and establishing sell-through recommendations.
  • Foster positive and collaborative relationships within finance team, cross-functional, and regional leadership.
  • Identify gaps and lead analysis for improvement projects, partnering with North America Finance and key stakeholders.
  • Support ongoing governance, control, and compliance with both corporate and external procedures and audits.
  • Participate in S&OP activities reviewing latest demand forecasts as compared to financial forecast.
  • Perform deep analysis of the numbers to find new opportunities or patterns and explain the 'what and why' behind performance.
  • Perform strategic reviews of brands and other key contracts in the business.
  • Support the preparation of quarterly and year-end audit schedules as necessary.
  • Prepare monthly financial results for management.

Requirements:

  • Finance experience of 3-5 years, with experience in Consumer Products preferred.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and reporting.
  • Accounting and/or Finance degree required, MBA preferred.
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes/Oxley.
  • Strong systems experience (expertise in Microsoft Excel, SAP, Hyperion).
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills required.
  • Self-Starter.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

3+ years of experience required.

The base pay range for this position in New York City is $90,000 - $108,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. Certain positions may also be eligible for short and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation.

Other benefits offered to employees include but are not limited to the following: long-term disability, supplemental life insurances, flexible spending accounts, critical illness insurance, group legal, identity theft protection, etc. Employees are also able to enroll in our 401k Retirement Savings Plan.

Employees are also enrolled in our company-paid short-term disability insurance (the benefit commences upon hire and allows for a portion of base salary for up to 26 weeks if you are disabled).

Employees will also receive 3 weeks of vacation, pro-rated based on date of hire for the 1st year of employment and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
