We are seeking a Paratransit Driver to provide transportation services in the Decatur area. As a Transportation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers, while also maintaining a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Drive safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and regulations
  • Provide assistance to passengers, including securing mobility devices and completing company forms
  • Maintain accurate trip data and use vehicle equipment such as onboard radio and computer system
  • Develop strong relationships with passengers and colleagues, promoting a positive work environment
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A current Illinois state drivers license with at least three (3) years driving experience in the United States
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and Pre-employment Drug Screen
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Salary and Benefits
