Job Title: Process Engineer

At Channel Personnel Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving process improvement and assurance, supporting product implementation, and defining and starting up new investments and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and conducting assigned development programs to facilitate continuous improvement initiatives that lead to improved products, processes, and technology.
  • Identifying cost-savings and process improvement projects and moving them from concept to implementation.
  • Developing, implementing, and revising process controls and operating procedures.
  • Utilizing extensive process data systems to monitor and improve operation processes.
  • Planning and conducting tests to evaluate process changes, statistically analyzing the data and reporting the results.
  • Planning trials, conducting trials, and analyzing data to evaluate processing options, and assessing quality problems.
  • Identifying corrective actions to improve safety, improve recovery, reduce customer rejects, and increase production.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Six Sigma/Lean Certification and working experience with statistical processes.
  • Experience conducting product failure analysis, root cause and effect analysis, and structural problem-solving (8D, 5 whys).
  • 5+ years' experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment, metal forming background (i.e. mill/foundry) preferred.
