Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to join our team at WhiteWater, Inc.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

This is a challenging role that requires the ability to perform maintenance-related duties in order to ensure the proper operation and maintenance of assigned water or wastewater facilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience with water/wastewater treatment plant troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance, as well as hazardous material handling, storage, or containment.

Responsibilities

  1. Schedule and perform Preventative Maintenance work.
  2. Coordinate work with outside vendors.
  3. Perform reactive maintenance work.
  4. Evaluate and provide supporting information for proposals and WAFs.
  5. Prepare predictive and preventative maintenance plans.
  6. Identify and resolve safety issues.
  7. Maintain safety equipment and supplies.
  8. Maintain site-specific maintenance forms.
  9. Interact with Maintenance and Operations Supervisors.
  10. Interact with operators to ensure proper operation and compliance.
  11. Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Education or background in water and/or wastewater treatment or a supporting technical field.
  • 5-7 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a regulated industry.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and utilize information found in blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Basic knowledge of MA Water/Wastewater regulatory requirements.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Valid US driver's license.
