Position Highlights

Epic Travel Staffing is currently hiring for a Travel RN - Surgical Oncology role. The position includes:

  • Shift: Nights / 7 PM - 7:30 AM, 12x3, 36 hours per week
  • Length: 13 weeks
  • Requirements:
    • Current IN License
    • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
    • BLS Certification
    • Preferred: 2 years of experience with post-surgical patients
Patient Care Responsibilities

The role involves caring for 4-6 patients in a busy 49-bed surgical unit, including:

  • Monitoring patient recovery post-PACU
  • Pain management and dietary advancement
  • Assessing bowel function return and mobility
  • Administering medications via IV and PO routes
