Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Imaging Services, the Sonographer is responsible for operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment in a safe manner while exercising independent judgment in order to obtain diagnostic images on patients of all ages for subsequent evaluation by a qualified physician.

This is a per diem rotate position at Doctors Medical Center Modesto, a full-service health care facility dedicated to providing the finest medical care for the community. Our multidisciplinary team of physicians and healthcare professionals is committed to your good health and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images of patients
  • Exercise independent judgment to ensure safe and effective imaging procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements

Must be a registered nurse or have equivalent experience and training in diagnostic imaging. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and exercise independent judgment in a safe and effective manner.
