Clinical Care Director

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Care Director in the Intensive Care Unit at Prisma Health.
About the Role:
- Provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, fostering patient-centered care.
- Demonstrate clinical competency utilizing evidence-based practices in all areas of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes.
- Incorporate knowledge of safety protocols, cost containment, and quality improvement throughout the nursing process.
Responsibilities:
- Collects data and completes nursing assessment utilizing appropriate area-specific standards/policies and tools.
- Completes appropriate forms and documents progress toward expected outcomes.
- Evaluates opportunities for quality improvement and incorporates performance improvement recommendations into the plan of care.
- Identifies/assesses patient learning needs and teaches accordingly, using language and terminology that the patient is familiar with.
Requirements:
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
- One (1) year experience as a registered nurse or completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or a comparable residency from another organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
