Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing education to patients and families. You will also be responsible for delegating tasks to other nursing personnel and contributing to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Delegate tasks to other nursing personnel based on licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
- Contribute to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia.
- Respond to emergency calls and assist ambulance teams as needed.
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
- Minimum one year of ED or Critical Care experience required.
- Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 1 year.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 2 years.
