We are seeking enthusiastic and committed Certified Med Tech Caregivers/Care Partners to provide exceptional support in various senior care environments. This role involves working flexible shifts to cater to the needs of multiple clients.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in a senior care or related field.
- Valid Certification as a Med Tech.
- Completion of a criminal background check and any additional required screenings.
- Two verifiable references and adherence to all certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
- Reliable transportation for client visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (iADLs) as outlined in their care plans.
- Build trusting relationships with clients and their families, ensuring confidentiality and support.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for clients.
- Provide assistance with household tasks, personal care, documentation, and meal preparation.
- Support clients with prescribed therapy exercises as directed.
- Monitor healthcare needs, including medication reminders.
- Encourage client independence and participation in activities to enhance mental engagement.
- Document client activities, moods, and any significant changes accurately and promptly.
- Report any changes in client status or home conditions to the supervisor.
- Participate in mandatory training sessions as required by state and federal guidelines.
