About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at Optimized Process Designs, LLC. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate an extended reach forklift to transport materials within the jobsite
  • Transport pallets, boxes, pipe, and other large objects within the jobsite
  • Interpret hand signals to determine where materials should be placed
  • Unload materials shipments when they arrive at the jobsite and stage in designated areas

Requirements

  • At least 1.5 years of experience as a forklift operator
  • Travel is a must with extended periods away from home in remote areas at times
  • Must be able to work in extreme heat, humidity, and cold conditions
  • Must be able and willing to attend mandatory safety meetings
  • Must be able and willing to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to work shifts up to 12 hours per day and 7 days a week
  • Must be able to meet basic physical requirements
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three years of experience as a forklift operator
  • Proficient in driving other large equipment such as skid steer, tractor, track hoe, back hoe, or excavator
  • Previous experience in oil and gas construction
