About the Position

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician who will work on assignments that are moderately complex in nature, requiring judgment to resolve problems and make routine recommendations. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in the respective field and possess military technical training, vocational, or equivalent on-the-job training.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, machine, weld, and/or fit together parts to form complete units or subassemblies.
• Analyze processes in respective areas and recommend, implement improvements in quality and productivity.
• Work from schematics, blueprints, and verbal instruction.
• Direct projects or lead task teams.
• Work in complex work cells and train employees within the field of expertise.
• Assist in the installation and setup of instruments and equipment.
• Periodically inspect equipment and perform routine preventive maintenance work.
• Maintain records pertinent to cart repairs and update/maintain Cart Database on INSIGHT.
• Provide technical support to the Manufacturing Department assigned.

About the Schedule

This position is 3rd shift.

About the Work Environment

Works in a factory setting. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in accordance with Company policy. The ideal candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time and manually lift/move/manipulate parts up to 50 pounds or use cranes/hoists to move heavier materials. Temperatures may be extreme; elevated in the summer, cold in the winter. The candidate must be able to cope with stressors and demands associated with the job and/or the work environment.

About You

Military technical training, vocational, or equivalent on-the-job training is required. 2-3 years of experience in the respective field is required.

About the Total Compensation Package

Wage - $26.33 per hour + 15% shift differential. Compensation depends on the selected candidate's experience. Benefits include:
