Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Worker to join our team on 2nd shift. As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for performing entry-level tasks such as pulling product from the yard to move through the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bringing lumber from outside to inside, replenishing lines, standing at the end of a saw to stack finished cuts, and moving products on the wall panel or truss production line.
  • Lifting up to 75 lbs but consistently handling 30-40 lbs.
  • You must be comfortable on your feet all day and performing manual labor.
  • Additionally, you will read blueprints, assemble custom wall or roof trusses, use hand tools and tape measures, and work with other team members.
  • The work is repetitive, involving the same task multiple times before switching.
  • You must be comfortable with repetitive tasks and will be placed in a spot that needs the most help, with the potential for cross-training after proving reliability and strong work ethic.

Requirements:

  • Read blueprints
  • Use of hand tools

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s). The work site is a fully on-site position in Fremont, Nebraska. The work environment is a non-climate-controlled facility with heaters in the winter and open doors in the summer.
