We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Cardiac Sonographer.

This is a Contract Assignment – 13 Weeks (Temporary)

Compassion and sensitivity are essential qualities for this role. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate critical thinking skills and the ability to respond swiftly in emergencies. Qualifications:
  • Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic/Ultrasound Technology program.
  • National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent, along with state licensure if applicable.
  • Advanced certification in specialty, RVT/RCS/RDCS or equivalent for Cardiac/Vascular, required within 18 months of hire if applicable.
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
  • This role typically requires 1-2 years of clinical experience.
  • Effective communication and human relations skills are essential, along with the ability to analyze data and solve problems.
  • Completion of AHA ACLS Provider Course within 12 months of employment is required.
  • CCRN and skilled nursing experience preferred.
  • A registered nurse with a diploma or associate degree and 2 years of experience in an active treatment unit in a psychiatric or mental health facility is also considered.
  • Proficiency in all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technologist.

    AND
  • Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers is required.
Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience.   • Perform multi-specialty diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Collaborate under the guidance of the Manager, Ultrasound Services, Medical Director of Vascular Laboratory, and Radiology Department.
  • Work under the limited direction of the Medical Director of regional centers and the Clinical Coordinator of Ultrasound Services.
  • This position requires collaboration with experienced staff sonographers within the regional ultrasound program.
