About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Roadway Construction Inspector to join our team at SSC Inc. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Document work progress and issues arising throughout the scope of the project
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve any issues or concerns
  • Perform other job responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction inspection of major public works projects
  • Knowledge of Caltrans Standard Plans, Standard Specifications, and Construction Manual
  • Ability to travel to construction sites (local)
  • Valid California Driver's License
  • Knowledge and experience with equipment used in construction inspection, surveying, field testing of construction materials, and construction office engineering
