Job Overview:This role involves working closely with senior staff to conceptualize, design, and analyze structural solutions for various enclosure systems. You will interface directly with clients, external design teams, consultants, and construction teams during all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with senior staff to develop innovative structural solutions for building envelope systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing workload requirements.
- Review contractor proposals, shop drawings, and structural calculations.
- Participate in laboratory performance testing and contribute to internal Research & Development initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and training to technical staff.
- Travel domestically and internationally for factory inspections and testing.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in structural design and engineering of building envelope and glazing systems.
- Professional degree in Engineering.
- Professional license in Engineering, or on track to obtain a license.
- Proficiency with finite element analysis software and AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and Sketchup.
- Excellent communication, drawing, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Design and detail oriented, organized, patient, and flexible.
- A competitive salary range: $75,000 – 100,000
