Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients, promoting independence and functional ability.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions, including modalities and treatments, to achieve patient goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with hospital and departmental policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Washington Occupational Therapist License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Occupational Therapy.
  • 1 year of experience in an occupational therapist capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related medical field.
