About the Role:
KurzSolutions is seeking a highly skilled General Surgeon to join our team. As a General Surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating medical and surgical disorders using the most appropriate techniques in providing quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat medical and surgical disorders using the most appropriate techniques in providing quality care.
- Perform a wide variety of general surgical procedures.
- Supervise residents that come in and require oversight.
- Participate in all surgical quality/performance improvement initiatives as appropriate.
- Provide patients with education concerning their disease state and treatment regimen.
- Assess patient's risk and benefits associated with surgical procedures and will provide appropriate informed consent.
- Complete all electronic, clinical, daily charting and documentation required by the Medical Center in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Degree of MD/Do or equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Must be board certified or board eligible for General Surgery.
