Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Inspired Living at Kenner. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for assessing the health status of residents, developing care plans, and providing direct care. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assess resident health status and develop individualized care plans.
  2. Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications and performing various nursing tasks.
  3. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  4. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records.
  5. Collaborate with the Director of Health and Wellness to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
  • LPN licensure required.
  • One year of experience as a nurse or caregiver, preferably in assisted living, home health, or memory care.
  • Minimum six months experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to read physician orders and match to Medication Administration Records for residents.
