Actalent is seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for industrial automation and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop control systems for PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems
  • Develop and implement code for structure text and ladder logic on multiple PLC controller platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with manufacturing equipment and processes
  • Develop and maintain documentation for control systems, including user manuals and technical specifications
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new control systems and technologies
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in automation and control systems
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, and C#
  • Experience with PLC programming and HMI development
  • Knowledge of industrial networking protocols, including Profinet, Ethernet I/P, and EtherCAT
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Siemens programming and Fanuc robotics
  • Knowledge of vision systems and Halcon software
  • Experience with industrial automation and manufacturing processes
