Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Member Services Representative. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet members and guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with various questions.
  • Check members in, tour new members, log amenities, and communicate updates and events to members and guests.
  • Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct beverage or merchandise purchases on the point-of-sale system.
  • Utilize the POS system to assist with new membership cards, address changes, and billing/payment questions.
Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:
  • Maintain the front desk area and lobby in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Perform regular facility cleaning and upkeep, including mopping under equipment, trash removal, cleaning windows and mirrors, and re-racking weights.
  • Clean all exercise equipment and tanning beds regularly.
  • Regularly clean restrooms and wet areas, ensuring they are stocked and well-maintained.
Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers.
  • Prior customer service experience is preferred.
  • You must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • An upbeat, positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.
  • Punctuality and reliability are crucial.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain CPR/AED certification within required timeframes and perform physical duties required by the job.
