Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a Lead Respiratory Therapist. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical leadership and support to our staff, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to respiratory care staff, including daily supervision and guidance.
  • Act as a role model and advocate for a highly efficient, accountable, and collaborative team environment.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Support preceptor tasks and provide resource support to staff as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
  • Minimum of two years clinical experience in respiratory care.
  • Current BCLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
  • Proficient in all patient care settings, including adult ICU and NICU.
  • Ability to ramp up basic skill set in NICU within a defined timeframe.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Licensure as a Respiratory Care Professional in the state of Georgia.
